How Nannies on Call Works
Getting great child care shouldn’t mean scrolling through endless profiles or starting from scratch every time you need a nanny. With Nannies on Call, you tell us what you need, and available nannies who fit your request can raise their hand and come to you.
Step 1
Create your account
Set up your Nannies on Call account in just a few minutes. Create a profile for your family, and select the weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual plan that works best for you. Your membership gives you access to the booking platform and unlimited bookings for the duration of your plan.
Step 2
Tell us what you need
Post the details of your care request, including the date and time, a little bit about your family, and the type of care you’re looking for. Whether you’re looking for someone with experience caring for babies, a background in early childhood education, or a caregiver who’s experienced with school-age children, you can tell us what you need.
Step 3
Nannies raise their hand
Available nannies who are interested in your booking and meet your requirements can respond to your request. No endless scrolling or contacting nanny after nanny. You’ll only hear from nannies who are available and fit your criteria. Review their profiles, experience, qualifications, ratings, reviews, and booking history. Find someone you love? Request them again for future bookings.

Choose and confirm
Select the nanny who feels like the best fit for your family and confirm the booking directly through the platform. Then, enjoy the peace of mind that comes from having trusted care in place.

Nanny Rates
Every family has different needs, and every nanny brings a different level of experience. Our three nanny tiers make it easy to choose the level of experience that’s right for your family and your booking. Rates are based on each nanny’s experience, customer reviews, and history of completed bookings.
There are 3 tiers of nannies:
Experienced, $22/hr - a new nanny with our agency who meets our minimum required childcare experience of 2 years and who has completed fewer than 100 babysitting appointments with our agency.
Pro, $23/hr - has multiple years of solid, full-time nanny experience, excellent client reviews, and over 100 completed babysitting appointments with our agency.
Elite, $25/hr - has multiple years of solid, full-time nanny experience, consistently glowing client reviews, and over 200 completed babysitting appointments with Nannies on Call.

Yes. An active, paid Nannies on Call membership is required to make a booking, confirm a nanny, and have a nanny come to your home at the date and time you need.
Your membership gives you access to the booking platform and unlimited bookings during your membership period.

Your membership begins on the day you purchase your subscription.

Absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account on the Nannies on Call platform.
Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least one day before the start of your next subscription period.
Please note that memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.

A nanny’s base hourly rate includes care for up to three siblings from the same family.
Nannies can care for more children, at an additional rate:
+$2/hour for each additional sibling
+$3/hour for each additional child from another family, such as a friend or cousin

Yes. Each appointment has a 4-hour minimum. If you book a nanny for less than four hours, you’ll still pay for four hours.
Nannies record their time in 15-minute increments, with time rounded up to the nearest quarter-hour.

Yes. For longer bookings:
AHours 1–8: Regular hourly rate
Hours 9–10: 1.5× the nanny’s regular hourly rate
After 10 hours: 2× the nanny’s regular hourly rate
After midnight: An additional $2/hour

Yes! Nannies are available for statutory holiday bookings, with an additional $2/hour added to the regular rate.
There are special rates for two holidays:
Christmas Day: The nanny’s base rate is doubled for the entire day.
New Year’s Eve: The nanny’s base rate is doubled beginning at 5 p.m.
On Christmas Day and after 5 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, additional fees for siblings, children from another family, and care after midnight are also doubled.

Yes! If you find a nanny your family loves, you can request them for future bookings through the platform.

While we can’t guarantee that a nanny will be available for every booking request, the more notice you provide, the more nannies available for you to choose from. Our large network of vetted nannies gives you the best chance of finding the right caregiver for your requested date, time and location.
Busy periods, including public holidays and school breaks, tend to have higher demand. We recommend booking as early as possible—ideally at least 48 hours in advance and up to one month ahead.
