Our by-appointment babysitting service is a subscription-based membership that gives you access to our pool of expertly pre-screened nannies for occasional babysitting appointments.
The service is perfect for families who only need occasional childcare and who are generally comfortable working with a variety of nannies as opposed to a single, regular nanny.
If you need to have the SAME Nanny for all your appointments or need a nanny who drives, we are not the service for you. Visit The Nanny Solution to hire a regular Nanny for 1 week or longer or to hire someone who drives.
You can book a Nanny to help care for your little ones during school professional development days, daycare closures, personal appointments, work events, and date nights.
We do not offer emergency or last-minute babysitting, nor multi-day overnight childcare of 24 hours or more.

How Does the Membership Work?
Our completely redesigned babysitting booking platform gives you complete control of your babysitting appointments and the nannies you confirm for them.
Select the subscription plan that works for your needs (weekly, monthly, quarterly/3-month or annual). You’ll be able to make unlimited babysitting appointments during your membership period.*
Set up babysitting appointments at your convenience directly from your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
View the profiles of nannies in our pre-screened roster.
Choose, book, and confirm nannies for your appointments— all from within the Nannies on Call Babysitting platform. No more waiting for Booking Agents to confirm your appointments!
At the end of your babysitting appointment, the nanny will issue an electronic invoice which you’ll receive by email.
Pay the nanny directly using your credit card via Stripe in the Nannies on Call platform.

The Fees
The services fees are twofold:
Membership Plan Fee + Nanny Rate
MEMBERSHIP PLAN FEES
The membership plans are recurring subscriptions as follows:
$45 weekly*
$99 monthly*
$247 quarterly (3-month) (save $50)*
$847 annually (save $341)*
*plus applicable taxes
The Nannies on Call membership gives you the ability to make unlimited babysitting appointments and have access to our pool of pre-screened Nannies during your subscription period.
To make a babysitting appointment, confirm a nanny, and have a nanny come to your home on the date and time you need, you must have an active paid subscription.
Your membership period begins on the day you pay for your subscription.
Your membership subscription is non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
Your membership subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least one day before the start of the new subscription period.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account on the Nannies on Call platform.
NANNY RATES
There are 3 tiers of Nannies based on their level of experience and customer service excellence:
Experienced, $21/hr - a new Nanny with our agency who meets our minimum required childcare experience of 2 years, and who has completed fewer than 100 babysitting appointments with our agency.
Pro, $22/hr - has multiple years of solid, full-time nanny experience, excellent client reviews, and over 100 completed babysitting appointments with our agency.
Elite, $24/hr - has multiple years of solid, full-time nanny experience, consistently glowing client reviews, and over 200 completed babysitting appointments with our agency.
The Nanny’s base hourly rate covers the care of up to 3 siblings for up to 8 hours of work.
Each appointment is a minimum of 4 consecutive hours. If you decide to keep a nanny for fewer than 4 hours, you’ll still need to pay them for 4 hours.
The Nanny will round up the time worked to the nearest quarter-hour.
Additional Nanny Rates:
An extra $2/hr per additional sibling
An extra $3/hr per additional child from a different family (friends or cousins)
An additional $2/hr after midnight
An additional $2/hr on statutory holidays
The Nanny’s regular rate x 1.5 after the 8th hour of work
The Nanny’s regular rate x 2 after the 10th hour of work
Special Dates:
On December 25, Christmas Day (all day), the Nanny’s base rate is doubled.
On New Year’s Eve beginning at 5 PM, the Nanny’s base rate is doubled.
Fees for additional siblings, children from a different family, and after midnight are also doubled on December 25 and after 5 PM on December 31.
