The Mad Italian Gelato Bar

The Mad Italian Gelato Bar, situated across the street from Hollywood Gelato on Bayview, proves that one simply cannot have enough Gelato joints! This is especially true considering the hot sun that Toronto offers in the summer.

Southland Leisure Centre

Have active kids that are hard to please and always itching to try new things? Well, the Southland Leisure Centre (run by the City of Calgary) is here to help! Summer in Vancouver

Caring for children during the Vancouver summer as a nanny can be a blast. Vancouver hosts beautiful ocean beaches, horse drawn tours through Stanley Park and the Children’s Festival at Vanier Park. You could also decide to walk along the sea wall and then take the children to the Planetarium or Museum for a fun filled afternoon. It’s a shame that summer doesn’t last all year long!

Love Child – Toronto

With an amazing array of cute, fashionable, functional and groovy clothes for children, Love Child, is a must visit for any one looking for unique and affordable baby and kids clothing. Owners, designers, and sisters, Dawn and Jacquelene McCormack, have captured the essence of fun in their small store on Yonge St just north of Eglinton Ave.

PB&J Game

When Stephanie Reitsma from Nannies on Call saw this blog post by Mollie from Wild Olive she knew we had to re – post it on our blog. It is a extremely cute, easy and fun game to play with kids. Also it would be a great addition to any nanny bag!

Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay

Last weekend at our Garage Sale we raised $200 towards Easter Seals. What a success! I want to thank all of you for your donations. Without you, it would not have been successful. I would also like to send a big thank you out to Karen K, Inna B and S for volunteering their time for this. Check out the attached photo of our table and our lovely volunteers. Stay tuned for photos of our car wash this weekend at Carter Honda on West 3rd Avenue near Granville Island.
