Nannies on Call receives new full-time, part-time and temporary placement requests with families from across Canada on a daily basis; as well as consistent, flexible on call opportunities in Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler.
We know you’d like to get right to your interview – and to work! – but we’ll just need a bit more information for your file before we can get started. Please provide copies of all the documents on the checklist below in one single package (scanned/emailed, faxed or via snail mail).
We’ll get in touch to schedule an interview once your file is complete.

Our Extraordinary Requirements:
- Your current, detailed childcare-specific resume. What do we mean by “childcare-specific”? As in: a resume tailored to include only your work experience relating to children, infants and youth (ie: teaching, nannying, babysitting, coaching, camp counseling, volunteering and tutoring experience are all fantastic). Please specify: the type of childcare position held, family names (if applicable), children’s ages, location, dates worked, all responsibilities undertaken and any higher education, training or certification we might find relevant. Quick tip: our extraordinary nannies have a minimum of two years childcare experience through positions with families they are not related to.
- Two written childcare reference letters with direct contact information. Contact information alone is not sufficient.
- Your completed Nannies on Call application form (DOWNLOAD BELOW)
- Your completed Nannies on Call reference contact form (DOWNLOAD BELOW)
- A photocopy of your birth certificate or proof you have the legal right to work in Canada.
- A copy of your valid CPR/First Aid Certificate*
- A Criminal Record Check – must be dated within the last 12 months*
- A copy of your Driver’s License**
- A copy of your Driving Record**
- Any other certification you would like to include in your file (ie: Food safe, ECE, BEd, coaching certification etc.)
*May be obtained and provided after your interview.
