We’ll be at The Lab Cab Festival this weekend!

We’re off to play at the Lab Cab Festival this weekend – and you should come too! This is the 5th year for Lab Cab – a free, two-day arts festival which takes place this Saturday and Sunday in every room, space, hallway and staircase (even washrooms) of the Factory Theatre. Local artists perform one-acts in theatre, dance, music, poetry, comedy, film and visual art. Founder and artistic director Aviva Armour-Ostroff tells us there will be oodles of kiddie-friendly entertainment – from shows to crafts. Most acts run a total of 15 – 20 minutes, perfect for the fidgety attention span.

Hollywood Gelato

Let’s be honest – you could be serving gelato from a hole in the wall and the kids would thrilled. Hollywood Gelato? Now this is taste fit for mom and dad.
